FTL Instantly crashes on startup

Hi,

FTL instantly crashes when starting up and so closes instantly. I have checked that all my drivers are updated, I have verified the game cache, restarted my pc, reinstalled with steam running as administrator all with no luck. Crashlogs are:

My specs are Windows 10, i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz, 8GB RAM, GeForce GT 540M GPU.

And just after I write this it seems the solution was to run it in compatability mode (right click the .exe -> properties -> compatability).


Edit: Not completely solved. It randomly crashes now with the exact same stack trace. Hmm.
