(iOS iPad) Lost Progress

Recently my iPad was updated and for some reason it deleted all of my ships and progress in the game. The achievements from other ships show in my Game Center, but I'm still stuck with only the basic kestrel. Is there any way to restor my progress and ship??? If not, I hoave a lot of playing to catch up on...
