My first day with FTL.

I bought FTL yesterday. Played it since this morning. And after a few (yeah, "a few") runs, countless mistakes and killing my entire crew with stupid decisions, I began to learn... and I finally did it! It took a day...

but I finally did it. And it was worth it.

My A type Kestrel saved the Federation on his last point of hull.
I was praying nearly whole third stage.

But I did it.

With nothing more than a teleport, good boarding squad, an upgraded cloaking device, an ion, a laser and a small bomb. On easy, but hey, it's my first day;)

One last thing - to the man who wrote about upgrading cloaking device to 2nd level - thank You:)


Why haven't I heard about this great game earlier?

It took me a year to win once and then a week to win again, so congratulations. FTL has smiled upon you as it did not with me.
But seriously. It usually takes people much longer to win a single run of FTL (My first win was more than 700 runs in) , so that's either insane luck or seriously amazing skills.

Also, what is this "easy" mode you speak of? I only know of hard, harder, and f***ing impossible.
