Would the real GMFaux please stand up?

He's one of ~200 kickstarter donators. Doubt he's in this forum.

I wish they hadn't done that. It would be better if all the crew had thematically appropriate names.

You have a point. A hundred years from now you'll probably see peoples' real-life names including leetspeak or whatever the contemporary equivalent is.

Hello. I am the real gmfaux. I am indeed a Kickstarter backer. You may see me in other games as well.
I never capitalize my handle but zasdarq contacted me directly to discuss capitalization for uniformity of crew names in the game. He confided that he also prefers lowercase, but I was happy to accommodate him.

I could not be more happy with the game, it is truly wonderful.

I personally read it as gamefaqs whenever I get that crewmember. Feels like a nice shoutout to the gamefaqs community which still has a few active FTL message board posters.
