I cannot launch Slipstream Mod Manager after downloading the newest java update.
Anyone else having this issue?

It would be helpful if you gave some details, like was there a crash log, does it just load up for a second and then disappear, stuff like that.
I've created Type C Hulls for the enemy Mantis, Slug, Rock, and Zoltan ships, and anyone can use these for a mod.
Check out the details here.

Sorry about that. When I launch the program in either admin or normal mode, a window similar to command prompt pops up for about a 10th of a second, and then nothing happens afterwards.

Someone had pretty much the same problem, and kartoFlane responded with this nifty little tool to help out. I think it could prove useful for you.

kartoFlane wrote:Download this batch script, and place it in the folder where you have SMM installed (next to modman.jar), then run it. It will prevent the window from closing immediately, allowing you to see the error that's being printed out.

What version of Java do you have? Slipstream requires the latest. And it's pretty much impossible to install mods into the game without Slipstream, unless you want to unpack FTL's dats, turn the mods to .zip files, put their coding in the right folders and then pack all of the dats back into FTL. And I'm assuming you don't want to do that.

No. Try JRE from here. Get rid of the previous ones from your system first.
