If it's the manager crashing, then we'll need the full stack trace in order to pinpoint the cause and help you. Try reproducing the crash, and then, after SMM crashes, find modman-log.txt in the manager's directory, and post its contents here between [ code ][ /code ] tags.

Hello,
I am new to Slipstream and also Superluminal, and every time I try to open either, it asks me to manually designate where my FTL files are. I can't find the file it asks for: FTL.app. I run FTL on my ipad and use (or rather, TRY to use)
Superluminal and Slipstream on a mac. Any idea how I could find the ipad files?
Signed,
Confused.

Modding the iPad edition is... tricky and not well understood.

  • Download Slipstream (from SourceForge, not GitHub).
  • Extract it to a folder somewhere (Don't just peek at the archive's contents and double-click files without extracting).
  • You should see modman.jar in that folder and an appropriate executable for your OS to run.

On Linux, you may need to open a terminal, drag "modman.command" onto that window, and hit enter.

No like, do I use JDK Java.exe, JDK Javaw.exe, JRE Java.exe, JRE Javaw.exe?

Sourceforge should be up in, at worst, an hour.

It is now online. Downloads should work again.

Ummm... I know this probably the place to post this, but I am having the same problem as isthistaken. I was wondering how you view responses to a post (or can you). Or otherwise could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
