Buyer’s Guide
Hey guys. I just wanted to clarify how to buy the game:
- Steam!
- Costs $9.99 in the US
- Windows and Mac only. (FTL will be on the Linux beta in a few months but not now)
- Standard Steam conversions of £6.99 / €9.99 / 249 rubles / $7.99 in CIS territories.
- GOG.com!
- Costs $9.99 in all regions.
- DRM free build for Windows only!
- You will also receive a few bonus items: 5 songs from the soundtrack, a mini-artbook, wallpapers & avatars.
- EDIT – GOG.com recently started distributing the Mac version as well.
- Our Website!!
- DRM-free builds for Windows, Mac and Linux.
- Costs $9.99 in all regions (you can give us a tip too).
- You will also receive a Steam key.
The FTL soundtrack can be purchased on steam or at Ben Prunty’s bandcamp site. Go have a listen!

is the download safe?

Why are you marking Steam as “in the US”? You don’t have to be in the US to use Steam..

Actually, your website lists a price of $10.00 so I guess that cent is a mandatory tip.

Hi,
Any plans for releasing FTL for iOS? I mean, I know there is an iPad version but that is apparently pretty bad and unpolished; just a bad port of the PC version and not at all geared toward mobile platforms (just what I read, I haven’t tried it).
So, will we see the day when this game becomes available on iOS, in particular, on smaller devices like iPhone and iPod Touch? I would really like to see it even if some features that do not make sense on the smaller screen are taken out.
You have a great game, and I would love to carry it around in my pocket.
Sincerely,
- Greg

Hi,
I bought this game on steam, but I just notice this game have Linux version, so does it has anyway to get this linux version only if I have steam version? Or the only way to play it on linux is have to buy another copy on this official site rather than steam?

Sure would like that Linux version, but there doesn’t appear to be any download here. I’ve got my key from the Kickstarter… but no way to redeem it!

There should be a button to download the Linux version from the same site. You can use this link to get it sent again – https://www.humblebundle.com/store/keyresender
